Discuss each of the three questions (without writing the questions). Blog should be a minimum of 8-10 sentences. 
1. Discuss Neville's plan to "help" the Aboriginal children. 
2. What did he believe would happen to the "mixed blood" and "full blood" Aboriginal people once his plan was implemented? 
3. What did he mean by "in spite of himself, the native must be helped"? 
4. Do you agree or disagree with Neville? Explain your answer.

Students will be involved in something called Project 3:30, where they will take out a microloan from a parent or relative, and use the money to start a small business. They will first repay the loan, then donate $27.00 to the Water Project.

Students will hear a presentation related to their Genius Hour project options. Discussion about poverty in Africa, and what we can do about it. Students joined Ms. Berry's class to discuss an upcoming project called Project 3:30. Each student, or group of students, will be required to take out a loan of $3.00 (most likely from a parent), and start a small business in order to support a water well project in Africa. This officially begins on Monday. 
Homework is due from yesterday.

Students will pair up to read "The Race to the South Pole" in National Geographic's Extreme Explorer magazine. We'll then compare the expeditions of Amundsen and Scott via T-chart. 
Next, students will catch up on Ben Saunders' blog in his own expedition to the South Pole.
